UPCOMING SPECIAL EVENT - EVERYONE'S WELCOME!
Jonny Carson hosted The Tonight Show for over 30 years. On Saturday March 29th we'll honor the
king of late night TV with an interview with Jeff Sotzing, one of the producers of the show. Jeff
will tell behind the scenes stories you've never heard before and bring along lots of the best clips from
the show. Refreshments will be served. Get your tickets here - the deadline
for ordering is Wednesday, March 26th – seating is limited, so don’t wait!
On September 7th, HMP hosted the latest in a long series of Coffee With events - this one featured JEFF WALD, former news director at KTLA-TV for 19 years and news director at KCOP-TV for 7 years. Jeff's career in news spans 38 years, he's received 13 Emmys. He told many stories about the important news events and people in LA since the 1970's. The discussion was entitled BREAKING NEWS, "BROKEN NEWS" - Journalism or Artificial Intelligence? and was hosted and produced by former PPB President CHUCK STREET.
On Saturday, June 22nd, we saluted
ENTERTAINMENT TONIGHT - HOW IT BEGAN! Produced by CHUCK STREET and hosted by JOHN E. GOLDHAMMER, former
Paramount TV exec in charge of ET creation. The room was filled with former and current ET staff and included
video appearance from VIN DI BONA, ANDY FRIENDLY, JOHN TESH, ROBB WELLER, RON HENDREN, STEVE HERSEN, and
a special message from former president of Paramount Studios, MICHAEL EISNER.
We had an enormous turnout for the Game Show Diamond Jubilee Brunch on August 20th. Celebrities on hand were BOB EUBANKS,
GLENN SCARPELLI, MARC SUMMERS, and ANNIE WOOD. Hosted by MICHAEL BURGER with announcer RANDY WEST, video included
a tribute to ART ALISI, the history of game shows, and appearances on tape by PETER MARSHALL, PAT SAJAK and VANNA
WHITE and the late ALEX TREBEK. Photos will be available soon - check back here.
